New Zealand is a land of fascinating country and culture that’s unparalleled. It’s a destination to go to if you want something pure and natural to the point that in certain places it appears untouched.  Coromandel is one of the places…

Renowned for its natural beauty, green pastures, misty rainforests and pristine golden beaches, The Coromandel is blessed with hundreds of natural hideaways, making it an ideal place to escape.

Head to Cathedral Cove where a naturally-formed archway divides two small, perfect bays. Dig a hole at nearby Hot Water Beach and bathe in naturally heated mineral water that bubbles up from deep within the earth.

Fish, dive and surf with locals in the Pacific Ocean. Head into the sub-tropical forest to the heights of the Pinnacles where the uncharted Sleeping God Canyon will be revealed. Trek by foot or bike, stopping to savor home grown goodness along the Hauraki Rail Trail.

The fascinating history is evident in gold mining relics, logging dams and ancient Maori pa (fortified village) sites. The past can also be found in the charming colonial architecture and historical buildings preserved in several towns around the region.

The Coromandel is located on the Pacific Coast Highway – on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, and is within an hour and a half drive of the major centres of Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua and their international airports.
