In Melbourne they recently wrapped up the F1 Grand Prix. If you like fast cars (or even if you don’t), it’s a really vibrant time to visit. In fact, Melbourne comes alive each September for the AFL (Aussie rules football- also known as Footy) Grand Final all the way through until about June when winter arrives. But even winter is fantastic – all the more excuse to wine and dine your way around the infinite restaurants and bars, or to pop down to one of the many wine regions nearby.

The winter time is also perfect for exploring the remote wilds of the Top End of Australia whether it’s the gorges of the Kimberley’s, billabongs of Kakadu National Park or exploring an infinite world of wonder on the Great Barrier Reef, it’s all there prime for adventuring beyond!
