The Lord of the Rings did for New Zealand what Braveheart did for Scotland. The ultra-successful trilogy directed by Peter Jackson is now getting another shot at recreating the legendary J.R.R Tolkein’s The Hobbit. This book precedes the LOTR trilogy and finds our main character Frodo Baggins off on an adventure with his wizard friend Gandalf.

The film will break the story into 2 parts, the first installment which will be available in theaters next year.
