Depart the USA on your flight to New Zealand.
Cross the international Date Line and lose a day.
Day 03
Arrive in Auckland!
Make your way to the Auckland Ferry Terminal and a private transfer to your hotel on Waiheke Island. Have time to freshen up and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

This morning you will be picked up from your hotel for a private tour of Waiheke Island (L).

Day 05
Return to Auckland airport via the ferry service this morning and begin your guided day to either Nikau Caves OR the township of Coromandel and experience the Driving Creek Railway (L).

Depart Lonely Bay Lodge for a varied day excursion around Coromandel (L).

Enjoy the day at leisure, exploring the fascinating city of Coromandel.

Private departure from Lonely Bay Lodge to experience the scenic route to Rotorua.
On route see the most picturesque private farmland and you will visit the Hobbiton Movie Set from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies (L).

Day 09
Spend today with your guide exploring Rotorua and its unique Maori culture and history. The day includes a Maori Haka performance (L).

Enjoy the day at leisure, experiencing everything that Rotorua has to offer.

This morning collect your rental car and head to the wonderful lakeside city of Taupo. Taupo is a beautiful and serene area. Located in the heart of a volcanic and geothermal activity area. Thermal springs abound in the area that is open for bathing.

Spend your last day in New Zealand exploring the city of Taupo.

Today you will return your car hire to Taupo Airport for onward flights home to the USA.
