Alison Nolting
President
As Vice President of our sister company, The Africa Adventure Company, Alison has used her many years of experience in travel consulting and marketing, along with her knowledge of traveling through New Zealand and Australia, to set up a company offering the same style of independent touring.
Unlike other companies whose brochures might highlight only a few standardized tours, the DownUnder Adventure Company promises to deliver a personalized approach based on first hand knowledge.
Bill Rivard
Vice President Operations
Born in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
As VP of Operations Bill also oversees our air department. He joined The Africa Adventure Company, our sister company, in November of 1990. Bill has been on several safaris through Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the Seychelles.
Bill traveled to Australia on a DownUnder adventure and overcame his fear of heights by scaling the Sydney Harbour Bridge!
Bill has also visited Austria, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, England, France, Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, The Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Hawaii, Slovakia, St. John, St. Thomas, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, and Venezuela.
Kerry Purcell
Operations Manager
Born in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Kerry lived with her family in South Africa for 18 years and then relocated back to the USA. In October 2008, she joined the Africa Adventure Company with 15 years of travel experience.
Kerry has been to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, Mauritius, Comores, and Dubai. Kerry has lived in Iceland and Taiwan too. Other travels include UK, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Germany, Malta, Greek Islands and Turkey. She also worked on a cruise ship for 6 years and got to visit ports around the USA, Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii and Alaska.
