Sometimes the Destination is the Path
I write this blog update from the comfort of my home-office. We are now 6+ months into a pandemic that has rocked the world and caught everyone by surprise. In particular, the tourism industry has been severely impacted by all travel bans and airline restrictions. In the meantime, we all think of adventures we’ve done in the past, and dreaming of where we will go when things open back up.
As a travel operator we have been keeping up to speed as countries slowly open back up and get ready to welcome travelers back on new adventures around the world. Also, we strive to deliver an outstanding experience that will deliver on many levels in a safe way.
With thousands of acres across New Zealand for you to explore we hope to introduce you to properties that will offer you relaxation, adventure, and memories to treasure forever.
In this post I want to feature one of many stunning lodges that are located throughout New Zealand.
Accessible only by helicopter, Minaret Station treats those fortunate enough to experience this wilderness landscape to a level of comfort and style never before available in the New Zealand mountains.
Guests are hosted exclusively, or as part of a group in one of our four luxuriously appointed chalets.
On-site facilities include the ‘Mountain Kitchen’ with its well-stocked library, dining room, living area, open fires, first class chef, and on-site private guides.
Activities include hiking the many trails; experiencing the life of a high country farm; spotting for wild game animals on the adjacent slopes, taking a helicopter to explore the rugged Fiordland and West Coast, accessing incredible fly-fishing rivers, heli-skiing, or simply relaxing with a book on your private deck.
The experience of staying at Minaret Station will be both moving and inspiring, unquestionably the highlight of any New Zealand vacation.
